Wrestling Shoes Dan Gable
Attn wrestlers: Which shoes should I go with?
I’m not a complete idiot on the subject. I do Varsity school, club, and camp wrestling but I’m wondering what shoes to get this year. I had a great pair that I would have worn all through High-School but it’s junior year and they’re small. I am leaning towards Asic, hopefully in some kind of blue/red, but I’m open to anything. People are complaining about some of the newer low-cuts, velcro’s, or split-soles and I want to know if anyone has some fairly current shoes that they could recommend or warn me about. I’m not worried about prices at all.
I’m checking out Dan Gable Ultimates, Rulons, and The Gable’s (Old-School style) in particular.
I’d go with Asics Cael V2.0. Those are probably the best on the market right now and they are named after the most dominant American wrestler of all time.
