Wrestling Ropes
Am I the only one that hates how some of the women in wrestling hit the ropes?
I’ve noticed that a lot of the women wrestlers hit the ropes slowly almost like they’re afraid of falling out of the ring can anybody give me a reason for this?
No, I think that’s most, almost all of the women wrestlers main weak points..when they hit the ropes. They hit the ropes very soft, I don’t know why this is.
There are a couple that hit the ropes pretty good, Madusa used to hit the ropes fine, Gail Kim tends to run the ropes ok…a few others I can’t think off the top of my head at the moment.
I’m not sure if it’s that the women are usually shorter, so the ropes are too high for them to bounce off of them properly, or if the ropes are too hard and they don’t want to hurt their backs when they hit the ropes.
I really don’t have an answer, other than there’s a difference in all sports, in how the men and women play. Men are just naturally more agile and stronger in most cases…so I’m guessing they can bounce of the ropes easier than the women when it comes to the agility part.
Just like in the NBA, there’s some great moves done by the men that the women don’t do in the games. I’m guessing it’s similar to that with the men and women when it comes to hitting the ropes.
Other than that, I can’t really think of another reason why they have trouble hitting the ropes like the men do. There are exceptions though, like I said.
