MMA Training For Six Pack Abs
Some months ago I was at my local watering hole enjoying my usual wings and beer with my friends when an issue of UFC 101 comes in a big screen. I am captivated by the sport, but not because of the brutality, or these guys display sportsmanship after beating urine out of yes, but I'm fascinated by these guys have abs. Do not misunderstand, I'm not in men, but I'm a guy of 43 years of white collar is out of shape enough to admire these warriors to crumbs. Many years behind a desk, and jumping training to spend time with my children, has really taken a toll on my physical after rebooting. I still go to the gym, however, the typical routine of weight recently for a man my age that produces a fraction of testosterone that once produced also I tried P90X, it was a great routine to lose weight. However, it became routine and frustrating for me after 4 months of doing this in my basement. Therefore, My search was initiated by a local MMA gym to see what he could do to evolve my training.
There are about three MMA gyms within easy driving distance my office and to my surprise, two of the three had areas of weight and decent local area. Without hesitation I joined, and have been very happy with the results so far. Note, I'm not about to enter a cage with another who suffers midlife crisis, but the training is intense and very focused group.
The routine:
Monday: Class of Muay Thai & Weights
Tuesday: Grappling (Jiu Jitsu)
Wednesday: Muay Thai Class + Weights
Thursday: grapping (Jiu Jitsu)
Friday: Plyometrics
** The Grappling classes begin with 30 minutes of military style fitness "hot", but I'm pretty sick at the end of this routine.
Food Intake:
MMA requires sufficient food intake at least equal to 15 to 18 times their body weight per day. For proteins that multiply my weight by 1.25 my daily intake. I also keep a food diary to free "police" my eating habits. Unlike real programs for weight loss a pound of gain in the first month. My pants are loose so this is undoubtedly due to the gain of muscle mass and the fat melts away.
Nutritional supplements
My instructor set up a simple plan for my supplements, I have to get through these stressful sessions of 1 to 2 hours.
-Omega 3
-Protein Smoothies
-Joint Complex
My results are amazing after the first three months. I've dropped a pants size and my arms are starting to look more muscular -.. Take the P90X feel I can definitely get into better shape classes to get a little easier for my package is six months away only if I can maintain this pace of training. The instructors, who live in instead of a DVD, you can change the classes to push students beyond the levels comfort. I would recommend looking at a local MMA gym to anyone who wants to get in shape. women are more than welcome in the gym I researched, and kickboxing if you do not want to roll on the mats with a sweaty old guy like me Next stop -. UFC!
